Heading West for the MacIT Conference
In less than one week's time, we'll be heading to Santa Clara, California for the MacIT Conference. What is MacIT? Here's a short blurb from their website:
MacIT® is the world’s premiere event for “Deploying Apple in the Enterprise.” Learn how Fortune 1000, Global 50, and Higher Education and Governmental organizations are addressing the emerging issues of putting iOS and OS X tools to work in their worlds. Get ahead of emerging “Consumerization of IT” trends, solve your organization’s problems today and position your IT group for the challenges of tomorrow.
The conference will be a three-day event from Tuesday, July 14 through Thursday, July 16 at the Santa Clara Convention Center. We're proud to be a Gold-level sponsor of this enterprise Apple-specific event.
MacStadium is always proud to present our unique offering whenever possible, but it's also really exciting when we can sponsor events. Without gatherings like this, small companies, developers, and advocates wouldn't have the chance to connect and create brilliant new products to share within the industry. We'll have a brand new exhibit right at the auditorium entrance at the Santa Clara Conference Center.
The list of sponsors is long, including Airwatch, Jamf Software and Code 42. We're excited to talk alongside these software leaders and being the only infrastructure offering at the show is very exciting. We think attendees will be excited to hear more about our Mac datacenters and where we're going in the next few weeks and months. We won't be out there alone though.
One of our friends and customers, Virtual Command will be attending alongside us. MacStadium and Virtual Command will be working together at our Tuesday session as well as the whole week at our booth talking about bridging Apple hardware with enterprise IT resources. We'll be sure to release a few more details about it in the days before the show!
MacStadium is sending our CEO, Greg McGraw, alongside founder and president, Jason Michaud. Jason will be presenting a special session alongside Virtual Command's CTO, Chris Chapman, on Tuesday, July 14th at our 2:55pm (Pacific Time, of course). Titled, Rise of the Business Workplace: How to Bridge the Gap between Enterprise IT Resources, our session will focus on how organizations can best leverage Mac-powered, cloud-based hosting environments in their business.
MacStadium and Virtual Command plan to be present at booth 300 throughout the conference. We encourage anyone with questions to drop by and chat with us. You're sure to see our booth with all of the orange!
If you're not able to make it to the conference, be sure to follow us on Twitter @MacStadium. We'll be sending out status reports on the event, pictures from the booth, and details about our session. Want to know more after the show? We'll be posting a follow-up post on the MacIT Conference late next week when the dust has settled.
