MacStadium Ranked 182 on Deloitte’s 2018 Technology Fast 500

Deloitte ranking follows recognition at Apple’s Special Event for the company’s role in helping developers build the world’s leading Mac and iOS apps

MacStadium, the leading provider of Apple Mac infrastructure-as-a-service, today announced it ranked 182 on Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500™, which recognizes the 500 fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences and energy tech companies in North America.

This is the third time MacStadium has appeared on the prestigious list, ranking 20 in 2016 and 125 in 2017.

The Deloitte announcement comes on the heels of a newsworthy year for MacStadium. Last month, MacStadium was recognized by Tom Boger, Apple’s senior director of Mac product marketing, during the keynote at Apple’s Special Event where the company released its new Mac mini. The Apple executive highlighted MacStadium’s data centers which house over 8,000 Mac minis and provide developers with the Mac infrastructure to create popular apps like Spotify, Day One, and Candy Crush.

During the period evaluated for the Fast 500, MacStadium experienced growth of 536 percent. Overall, 2018 Technology Fast 500™ companies achieved revenue growth ranging from 143 percent to 77,260 percent from 2014 to 2017, with median growth of 412 percent.

In order to be eligible for Technology Fast 500 recognition, companies must own proprietary intellectual property or technology that is sold to customers in products that contribute to a majority of the company's operating revenues.
